About Maria
Meet Maria! This little terrier/chihuahua mix weighs in around 5 pounds and won’t get much bigger. Maria is 7 months old and has the energy and spirit you’d expect from a pup her age. Playful, sweet, and utterly affectionate, she’s happiest curled up on your lap or tucked beneath a favorite blanket. Maria can be shy when meeting new people, but once she’s earned your trust, she becomes deeply loyal and never far from your side. She’ll zoom around the yard, play with her foster dog brothers, and keeps her people laughing with puppy antics, but is always ready for lounging or a cuddle. Being so petite, Maria’s next home should respect her size—especially if there are other dogs or children. She gets along well with both, provided the kids are gentle and know how to handle a dog her size. She’s already potty trained, knows a few commands, and loves belly rubs. Maria enjoys outdoor time in the sun but will always pick closeness and snuggles if given the choice. If you want a little shadow who’s all about affection, Maria is your girl. Ready to fall in love?
