Meet Dakota! Dakota is an eight-year-old, 55-pound Terrier Mix. She was surrender to the shelter because her owners didn't keep up with her allergy medications. She had hair loss and her skin shows the years of suffering from her allergies. Her skin condition is not contagious. She has mended with antibiotics and allergy medication. Her allergies are manageable with daily allergy pills. She is heartworm-negative, spayed, current on all shots, and house and crate trained. She is very loving and gentle. She does like treats, walks and car rides. She gets along with other dogs. She does not jump up on furniture. She will spend most of her time snuggled on a blanket or dog bed in whatever room her human occupies.
