About Artemis
Artemis is one of those cats whose personality feels a little otherworldly—that much is obvious from his wide, curious gaze and lanky frame. Fresh out of a rough hoarding situation in North Carolina, his first days weren’t easy, but Artemis is a survivor. The rescue stepped in when he faced euthanasia due to severe dental disease. After a tough set of procedures (and plenty of dental work), he’s left a little rough around the edges—still a bit drooly—but on the mend. You’ll find Artemis loud and full of opinions, not shy to tell you when he’d like more attention or pets. He flops down and revels in a good petting session or the simple joy of a YEOWW catnip banana. There’s a streak of nervousness that lingers—understandable, given his history—but it’s wrapped in genuine affection. He’d fit into homes that offer patience and welcome his unique quirks. Artemis would likely appreciate a feline companion if introductions are handled with care. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tests negative for FIV/FeLV. He does have one cloudy eye, but this doesn’t require further treatment right now. Born April 13, Artemis is an Aries—so expect boldness and a dash of the unexpected. If you’re looking for a cat who’s both sweet and a tad weird, Artemis is in Gibsonia, PA and might just be your next little “alien.” Click apply to start the adoption process.
