About Percy Redington Beach
Percy Redington Beach, or ‘Prince Percy’ as he’s affectionately called, is a 5.5-month-old poodle mix with a wild tuft of brown-red curls and a personality that’s pure mischief. At just 4 lbs right now, he’ll likely top out between 15-30 lbs when fully grown, but that’s just an educated guess since nobody’s seen his parents. He’s quick, sharp, and always learning—already figuring out stairs and working hard on potty training. Percy craves company, especially from another young, small, active dog. Big dogs are a no-go. He packs plenty of drama for his size, letting out an opera-worthy shriek if startled or nipped by a playmate. Once he calms down, he’s back at play, whether wrestling with his favorite soft toys or tackling his best friend, Snowball, in foster care. Percy is all puppy when it comes to teething—give him toys, but keep shoes out of reach. He’ll need supervision outdoors, given his size and curiosity; a quick hand is required to intercept rocks or twigs he tries to sample. Potty training is in progress, and patience is a must—he’s pee pad trained but can’t hold it for long. Percy needs a home with adults or respectful, dog-savvy kids over 12 and a daily routine that keeps him company (not left home alone all day). You’ll need to keep an eagle eye since he’s fast and tiny, built for slipping underfoot. Early morning and evening leash walks are best given the Florida heat. Percy is neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations and preventatives. If you’re up for a puppy who’s equal parts comedic chaos and cuddle buddy, Percy is waiting in Redington Beach, FL.
