About Max
Max came from a tough background, rescued with a group of pups from a hoarding situation where basic care and comfort were scarce. Now he's learning how life should feel: safe, gentle, and full of new opportunities. He's a Pomeranian and Chihuahua mix, only about 2-4 lbs, looking for a family who understands he'll need a bit of time and patience as he adjusts. For the first time, Max gets to enjoy outdoor play, loving attention, and plenty of chances to just be a dog. Max is friendly with other dogs and gets along with children, so he could be a good fit for a patient home ready to support his transition. As a younger pup, he's still awaiting neuter, but his vaccinations are current and up to date. Max is currently in Grafton, WI, and will be ready for his forever home after June 21st. He comes with a five-day trial period to make sure the fit is right. Ready to help Max settle in and thrive? Adoption is through foster homes within Wisconsin only. Start your journey together!
