About Rascal
Rascal is a soft-hearted, fluffy puppy with a sweet nature and gentle spirit. His mother was a Golden Retriever mix and his father a Great Pyrenees mix, so he’s got the best of both—affectionate, mellow, and great with people and other dogs alike. Rascal tends to stay quiet unless he’s in play mode, and his favorite place is curled up on the couch with a human. Right now, he’s working on his crate and potty training, making steady progress every day. He’s expected to grow to over 50lbs and has a medium-length, golden and cream coat that begs for a good snuggle. Rascal gets along well with dogs of all sizes and is equally comfortable with kids and adults. He can entertain himself but thrives on interaction with his family. This guy needs a home that’s not only active but present—someone who can provide a lot of structure, enrichment, and time together. Families with kids six and older are preferred, and potential adopters should be in Chicago or nearby suburbs, as home visits are part of the process. Adoption fee covers his future neuter, microchip, vaccines, and early medical care. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
