About Staci
Staci doesn’t warm up to everyone right away—she needs someone willing to choose her first. She’s an almost 2-year-old, 18-pound terrier/mixed breed who’s cautious and sensitive, slowly figuring out that people and the world aren’t always scary. Jumping into laps and seeking attention isn’t her thing, but she clearly wants to trust; you’ll see it in her eyes and her small acts of bravery. Instead of bold greetings, Staci shows affection by quietly sitting next to you on the couch, letting familiar people gently pet her, and relaxing nearby when she feels safe. Those moments mean a lot for her. She’s completely house trained, quiet, and low-key—a natural couch buddy. Other dogs put her at ease (she really needs a confident, playful dog sibling) and she’s done well with cats. Never aggressive, just afraid and cautious in new situations. Staci needs a calm, low-traffic home with a secure fenced yard. A confident dog is required; it's the key to her progress. Fast movements from young kids are too much for her, so a kid-free household is best. Staci’s quick and can slip outside in a flash, so her family must be vigilant keeping her safe. She might not become your shadow overnight, but once she trusts, you’ll know you’ve truly earned it. Staci is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. She’s looking for someone patient, gentle, and home often—a person ready to invest the time she needs. Fun fact: born March 13, Staci is a Pisces, a true sensitive soul. Ready to fall in love?
