Volley Llama is a sweet little soul with a tender heart and a past that wasn't kind to her. She came to us from a hoarding situation, and while some dogs from that same place have started to settle in, Volley is still learning that people can be safe. She isn't mean. She isn't difficult. She's scared. Volley wants love so badly, but she just doesn't quite know how to receive it yet. With time, patience, and a calm home, she will begin to trust. And when she does? She gets excited just to see you. That may sound small, but for a dog like Volley, it's huge. She is kennel trained, potty trained, and very treat motivated. Once she trusts you, she'll gently take treats from your hand. She will need a secure fenced yard and another friendly dog in the home, because she truly thrives when she has a confident dog friend by her side. Volley Llama is looking for a patient, calm, secure home that understands healing takes time - and that the quiet victories are often the biggest ones.
