Meyer and his brother are Dachshund mix puppies with a bright future ahead of them. After being dumped by a backyard breeder because they developed severe mange (a condition that is completely treatable) they found themselves in a shelter through no fault of their own. Thankfully, they are now safe in foster care and getting the care and second chance they deserve. Now living in a Connecticut foster home, Meyer has quickly become a favorite thanks to his playful, goofy personality and sweet nature. He loves making new friends, whether they have two legs or four, and is always ready for an adventure. With his floppy ears, short little legs, and endless puppy charm, Meyer is guaranteed to bring smiles wherever he goes. Meyer gets along well with other dogs, is comfortable around children, and has the kind of easygoing personality that allows him to fit into many different households. He’s curious about the world, loves exploring, and can often be found bouncing around with excitement before settling down for cuddles and lap time. This happy, affectionate little guy is ready to find a family of his very own. If you're looking for a fun-loving companion with plenty of personality and even more love to give, Meyer could be the perfect match. Apply today!
