Lemon is a sweet, devoted mama ready for her own permanent family. She’s a young Lab and retriever mix at about 2 years old, weighing around 58 lbs as of April 2026—she may be a touch underweight but is otherwise in the prime of her life. Lemon did a terrific job raising her eight energetic puppies, and now that they’re off finding homes of their own, it’s Lemon’s turn to enjoy all the attention. She’s eager for long walks, good romps, and all the daily adventures that come with finally having a place to belong. In return, you’ll get her loyal companionship and gentle nature. Lemon gets along well with other dogs, and while her foster home hasn’t tested her with cats or kids, the rescue can walk you through an introduction if needed. She’s working on her crate manners and is looking for a family willing to give her safety, love, and a place to blossom. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
