About Lincoln Biscuit
Lincoln Biscuit is a 4-year-old, approximately 25-pound small Schipperke mix in Long Beach, CA. He was rescued from a tough situation after being picked up as a stray and placed on the euthanasia list at a rural shelter. Despite the uncertainty of his past, it’s clear Lincoln Biscuit once belonged to someone who cared for him—he is affectionate, people-oriented, and eager to please. He thrives on human companionship, forming close bonds with his people and preferring to stay involved in daily life. Lincoln Biscuit loves car rides, plays well with dogs of all sizes, and has experience being around cats, goats, chickens, horses, and cattle without problems. He is athletic and lively, but not destructive, and does not dig or create issues in the yard. However, his determination means he can leap short fences if something on the other side catches his eye, so he’ll need supervision and a secure yard. Lincoln Biscuit is intelligent, food-motivated, and full of energy. He’s still learning the ropes when it comes to house training but responds well to consistency and routine. His close attachment to people likely contributed to him getting lost, so he’s best suited to a home that values companionship and includes him in everyday activities. Lincoln Biscuit is looking for a place where he’ll be valued and cherished for the loyal, well-rounded dog he is. Your new best friend is just one click away.
