🐾 Meet Jackie & Joe Joe – A Bonded Pair Looking for Their Forever Home 🐾 Jackie and Joe Joe are two of the beloved Florence 10, a group of dachshunds who came into our rescue in September after enduring years of neglect. Despite everything they have been through, these boys have remained incredibly sweet, loving, and trusting. Jackie is affectionate, outgoing, and very protective of Joe Joe. He loves attention from his people and is always happy to be by your side. Joe Joe is a little more timid but is equally sweet and loving once he settles in. Together, they are the perfect pair and are completely bonded. They will not be separated. Both boys walk beautifully on leash, ride great in the car, have fantastic appetites, and settled easily into their foster home’s routine. They get along well with other dogs and truly enjoy being part of a family. House training is still a work in progress, with Joe Joe currently a little further along than Jackie. Both Jackie and Joe Joe are neutered, fully vetted, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. At this time, we are seeking a foster-to-adopt home for the pair. During Jackie’s recent dental procedure, two of his three fistula repairs reopened. He will need to see a dental specialist for repair, and Chance of a Lifetime Dachshund Rescue will cover all costs associated with that procedure. Once Jackie’s repair is completed, the adoption can be finalized. We are hoping to move these boys into their forever home sooner rather than later. They have been waiting patiently in foster care for a long time, and while their foster family loves them dearly, we need to open foster space so we can continue helping more dogs in need.
