AvailableHoudini is a senior male Maine Coon with a beautiful long brown tabby coat, residing in Seattle, WA. He is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. Houdini is house trained and strictly an indoor cat. He has special needs related to hypothyroidism and is on GI-supportive food, which helps with weight management and his pickier eating habits. He does best in larger homes where he can roam and enjoys plenty of attention and playtime.
About Houdini
Houdini is looking for a home through a foster-to-adopt arrangement. At 15, he's a classic Maine Coon—big, long-haired, and never far from his person. This affectionate, chatty cat hands out kisses, adores attention, and excels at vet visits, car rides, and chilling in a kennel if needed. He loves fetch and catnip toys, and a home with space to roam and a few window perch spots would make him happiest. Apartment living probably isn’t the best fit—he’s vocal and might annoy the neighbors. He’s always been polite with other cats and gets along with dogs, too. Houdini is on a special GI diet and prefers to graze. He has hypothyroidism, currently managed with twice-daily pills. His senior medical care has been generously covered, and potential fosters can access additional thyroid clinic support. Rabies and combo vaccines are up to date. He’s house trained, loves being brushed, and while he isn’t into cuddling, he really looks forward to mealtime. Strictly an indoor cat, his requirements are clear: a larger, pet-friendly home and the ability to get to vet appointments in Renton or Tacoma as needed. Sponsored by The Buttercup Fund for seniors, Houdini’s been promised the perfect retirement home. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
