About Eddie
Eddie is a 3-year-old Mini Poodle in Tonawanda, NY, with about as much heart as you could hope for. Starting life in a puppy mill means the world is still a bit unfamiliar, and loud noises or sudden changes can be intimidating for him. But he’s been adjusting, growing braver every day, and steadily shaking off old anxieties. Eddie bonds strongly with his people and shadows them from room to room—on the couch, beside the TV, or just close by during quiet moments. He enjoys a cozy blanket, proudly rolls in the grass, trails after the other dogs in foster, and looks for a safe lap or gentle hands to curl up with. Meeting new faces makes him a bit shy, but patience rewards you with a loving, soft personality. He’s picking up leash skills, does well in the car, sleeps quietly in a crate at night, and almost never has an accident indoors. Eddie is easygoing around toys and food, and doesn’t mind being picked up. He’s looking for someone who’ll let him settle in at his own pace—someone whose patience will earn his loyalty and many good snuggles. Eddie gets along with dogs and children, making him a sweet match for gentle households. He’s come a long way; now he just needs someone to help him enjoy the rest of his story. Your new best friend is just one click away.
