About Joji
Joji greets everyone with his famously big, happy tongue and even bigger heart. At about 120 pounds, he's a true gentle giant, always joyful and quick to win over new people. He knows his basic commands, but don’t be surprised if he holds out for a treat—Joji is plenty smart and a bit of a negotiator. He’s played well with both male and female dogs and brings a friendly spirit everywhere he goes. While Joji grew up around cats, it’s been a while since he’s lived with one, so his caretakers can’t guarantee how he’ll do in a feline household. He gets along with children, but given his size and energy, older kids are a better fit. Apartment life isn’t for Joji; he’s too vocal when left alone and needs space for daily adventures. Joji is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm and Lyme negative, and looking for someone strong enough to keep up with his size and zest for life. If you want a lovable, big-headed companion and have room in your heart and home, Joji is ready to meet you. Click apply to start the adoption process.

Joji will thrive with a good-sized, fenced yard or frequent access to parks and outdoor spaces. His Lab mix heritage means he loves activity and plenty of exercise.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Yellow Labs are known to be tolerant and gentle with children, and Joji especially loves kids. Given his size and energy, older children or teens are best suited for his playful nature.
