About Waylon

Waylon is a 7-month-old Weimaraner bursting with energy and personality. True to his breed, he’s got two speeds: fast and faster. He runs hard with his foster brothers—even though they’re bigger—showing off his athletic side, and his smaller frame and bright white chest patch just add to his appeal. Waylon thrives on action: he loves to play, jump off anything in sight, and is already getting curious about water, but isn’t quite ready to swim just yet. He’s a quick learner and super smart, but stubborn, so his ideal family will have breed experience and keep consistent boundaries in place. If you want a laid-back dog, he’s not your match; if you want a companion to include in adventures, agility, and play, he’s your guy. Waylon is affectionate, sometimes hilariously mischievous in his pursuit of shoes, clothes, and plush toys, and he loves to snuggle up directly on top of people for naps. House training is coming along—he uses a dog door but sometimes doesn’t make it to the door in time. He’s great with all ages of kids, though his play style may be a bit much for the littlest ones. Waylon gets along with other outgoing dogs and can hold his own in a busy household. He could also live as an only dog if you’re active and help him stay social. He’s neutered, up to date on shots, and currently fostered in Jeffersonville, IN. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
