About Hank
Howdy! My name is Hank, and yes, I’m a long-haired blue Weimaraner—a rare find! You might think big dogs can't be lap dogs, but I beg to differ. At around 20 pounds heavier and 6 inches taller than my foster sister Ivy, I still believe I can snuggle up just fine. Recently, I've taken a liking to treats. Just a heads up, I'm at countertop height, so you might want to keep your snacks out of reach if you want to keep them! I'm getting ready to celebrate my 8th birthday, so that makes me a mature gentleman. I've faced some challenges, losing my previous dad and moving from home to home. Thankfully, my new foster family is helping me start fresh. I'm searching for a family that appreciates Weimaraners, enjoys walks, and loves a big cuddly companion like me. I make an excellent walking buddy and have great manners when out in public—people often compliment my behavior. I've lived happily with my foster sister Ivy, though I'm still getting accustomed to meeting other dogs; I prefer calm, respectful ones. I also have experience with cats and get along just fine with them! I'm pretty laid-back and enjoy lounging around, but loud noises like fireworks can be stressful for me; I appreciate a quiet place to retreat when that happens. I've been working on my look with some TLC, and I'm feeling healthier than ever. The best part? I'm neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and ready for my forever family. If you're looking for a loving companion with an eye-catching appearance and a big heart, I could be your perfect match. I'm based in Jeffersonville, IN, and I'd love to meet my new family soon.
