About Armando
Armando is proof that good things come in small packages. This 7-lb male chihuahua has a lot of love to share and has reached his golden years at about 10-12 years old. For a small guy, Armando keeps pace and genuinely enjoys going on walks, always ready with bright eyes and those enormous, expressive ears. He isn’t the type to fuss over toys, but mention a treat, and he’s instantly alert, tail wagging in anticipation. He’s a champion cuddler, happiest nestled in a lap or snuggled on the couch. During the day, Armando prefers lounging quietly with his foster dog siblings and rarely makes noise, except when there’s a meal or outing on the horizon. He gets along with calm, gentle dogs but isn’t a match for cats. His petite size means he isn’t suited for homes with small children—he’d thrive best where he can feel secure and settled. Currently fostered in Jersey City, NJ, Armando is available for adoption throughout the Northeast if a meeting can be arranged. Click apply to start the adoption process.
