Dancer is an approximately 5 year old Chihuahua/Pomeranian/Cattle dog cross (DNA tested) neutered male who weighs 15 pounds. Dancer came into rescue with his brother Sputnik after both were picked up as semi-feral strays in the Central Valley of California. Dancer has lingered in foster care because of his shyness; his brother Sputnik was adopted last year and is doing really well with his new family in the Seattle area. We are looking for a family with SHY DOG EXPERIENCE AND PATIENCE as well as another amiable confident dog in the home to be Dancer's role model and mentor. Dancer is house and crate trained and rides well in the car. He walks well on leash and has excellent off-leash recall when he has bonded with his human(s). Dancer does well with other dogs and loves going hiking. His foster writes: "Dancer is a major cuddlebug who loves to stick close to his people. He IS skittish around people he does not know and loud noises as well as some new situations." NO small children, NO cats, and secure fencing a must. Dancer is in foster care in Moses Lake, Washington. His adoption fee is $200. Transport can be arranged to the right home anywhere in the Pacific Northwest.
