About Bash

Bash, known fondly as Bashy, started life timid but has truly transformed in foster care. At around a year and a half old, he’s grown from a hesitant newcomer into a cat with a regal medium-to-long buff and white coat and a tail that impresses everyone. Bash still tends to startle and takes his time trusting new faces, but he’s become a fan of gentle head pets from his humans. He won’t climb into a lap quite yet, but he's now found the courage to nap on the bed—sometimes even while people are in it. Bash continues to make steady, quiet strides every day, and the connection he forms is deep and rewarding for those patient enough to earn his trust. He gets along well with other cats and dogs but isn't comfortable with children. After spending nearly a year shaping up in foster, he’s ready for a calm, understanding home and a person who values the small wins shy cats deliver along the way. Bash is neutered and up to date on his rabies and FVRCP vaccines, plus flea and tick prevention. He’s in Hickory, NC and ready for a forever place to call home. Ready to meet your new best friend?
