About Rocky

Rocky’s the kind of dog who simply slides right into daily life. He’s a three-year-old chocolate Lab and husky mix, weighing about 42 lbs, with a calm and gentle presence. At first, Rocky might hang back—he’s slow to warm up until trust is built, but when he’s comfortable, he is affectionate, sweet, and easy to live with. He’s dog-friendly, gets along well with children, and already has housetraining and crate training down. Walking on leash is effortless, and Rocky’s quiet—you’ll rarely hear him bark. He enjoys spending time outdoors, tagging along for walks or car rides, and simply being with people and other dogs. Rocky is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm negative. He’s currently living in a foster home in the north Dallas area and is open to meeting new families both nearby and out of state. Rocky’s looking for someone who values a peaceful, loyal companion willing to give back everything he gets in love. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
