About Calamari
Calamari is a young Corgi who thinks the world revolves around him—a classic corgi personality packed into a bigger frame at just 10-12 months old. This confident, opinionated, and extremely charming boy loves nothing more than being close to his people. Most mornings start with a walk, and he's happy to alternate between indoor relaxation and yard exploration alongside other dogs. When left alone, Calamari hangs out patiently, and at night, he prefers to curl up on his bed with plenty of cozy blankets. Despite acting independent, he's actually a Velcro pup—following his favorite humans from room to room, always looking for a lap or a pair of feet to keep warm. Calamari adores other dogs, enthusiastically greeting anyone he meets and thriving in canine company, though he wouldn't mind being the only focus of attention, either. He's fascinated by cats and can learn to respect boundaries with guidance, even if he sometimes broadcasts his discoveries. He's potty trained, has top-notch house manners, rarely barks, and doesn't chew or dig. After a rocky start and some fear around leashes, he now responds well to positive guidance and shows his sweet, affectionate nature every day. Calamari gets along with dogs, cats, and children, making him well-suited to many homes, especially those familiar with corgi quirks and charm. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
