Mealtime is the most important, where he loves to follow his human around and have chats while they are preparing his sustenance. The Colonel's marching purring orders are for endless pets, sunbeams, and a forever home. He is a wonderful companion who loves bathing in the sun and is content when watching the bunnies in the grass next door. He's a fanatic for churu and scritches, and belly rubs too! Colonel Mustard would love a soft spot to land where he can spend his days snuggling with his person, being brushed, and getting lots of attention. About Ten Lives: Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
