And yet... when they reached for him, Gabriel lifted his head. When they spoke softly, he wagged his tail. When they touched him gently, he leaned in. Even after everything, this boy chose love. Gabriel is now receiving urgent, comprehensive medical care — fluids, nutrition, parasite treatment, and the slow, careful rebuilding of a body that has been starved for far too long. He is safe.
