About Duffy

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Here comes Duffy — and trust me, this little bald nugget is about to steal the entire internet. Meet Duffy (GA) — the 8weekold Pit Bull Terrier puppy who proves that hair is optional, but charm is mandatory. This tiny gentleman was found on the side of the road with his six siblings and absolutely zero Momma in sight. Just a pile of abandoned babies trying to figure out life. And poor Duffy? He was the itchiest, scratchiest, most uncomfortable little potato you’ve ever seen. His skin condition was so rough that he lost all of his fur — every last strand. Smooth as a seal. Bald as a baby bird. Still adorable. But here’s the plot twist: Duffy has no idea he’s bald. Duffy has no idea he looks like a tiny pink hippo. Duffy thinks he is PERFECT — and honestly, he’s right. He’s getting all the medical care he needs, and we cannot WAIT to see what handsome masterpiece emerges once his fur grows back. Will he be brindle? Will he be spotted? Will he be a fluffy king? The suspense is real. What we do know is this: Duffy is happy, sweet, great with people, great with other dogs, and a certified lover boy. He gives kisses like it’s his fulltime job. He wiggles like he’s made of JellO. He believes every human he meets is his new best friend. If you’re looking for a puppy who will make you laugh, melt your heart, and maybe become TikTokfamous during his glowup... this is your guy. Apply online to adopt Duffy (GA) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org. Someone is about to win the Duffy lottery — and it might just be you.
