Marjorie is a 5-year-old Collie who lives for comfort and easy days. She weighs in at nearly 85 pounds and has perfected the art of relaxation—lounging is her favorite activity, especially if it involves a soft bed or your company. Short, slow walks around the block work for her, but anything longer or any heat, and she’s likely to run out of steam. Marjorie is house trained and can hold it for long stretches, including overnight. She’s terrific on a leash, if slow, and car rides don’t faze her (although she may need a little boost getting into a taller vehicle). She gets along with both dogs and cats. Her prey drive only seems to kick in when she spots a squirrel; otherwise, she’s content with treats—especially if they’re lamb, since she can’t tolerate beef.
