Despite her name, Puppy is an older girl, probably nine to ten years old. But she is still energetic and curious and likes people and gets along well with other dogs. She should do well with children because she is gentle and not a jumper and weighs 40-45 pounds. She has been house trained in the past but cannot hold out in the shelter and will need to re-learn. Puppy loves long walks where she can explore her surroundings and find out what other dogs have passed that way. Puppy would be a great companion for an older person or couple because she walks will on leash with little or no pulling and she knows commands such as "wait" and "this way." But she does love her walks and looks forward to a forever home with someone who will take her for walks and hopefully a fenced yard where she can run and play.
