About Teddy
Teddy came to the rescue with his buddy Buster when their previous family had to let them go. Although they started off together, Teddy and Buster are now doing well separately and don't need to be adopted as a pair, though it’s an option for anyone looking for a duo that already gets along. Around 3 years old, Teddy has a doodle look and originally arrived with a very matted, thick curly coat, which has since been shaved for a fresh start. He’s energetic, eager to please, and has a playful streak. When excited, Teddy can get mouthy, but it’s not out of aggression—he’s just brimming with energy. Teddy would do best with a family invested in giving him daily exercise and committed to obedience training, which will help channel his enthusiasm in the right direction. The rescue is still testing how he responds to other dogs and cats, so information on his compatibility there is pending. If you’re looking for a smart, lively companion in Holland, MI, Teddy might be your match. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
