Sophie is a 10-year-old miniature poodle with a gentle spirit and a hint of sass. She arrived at the rescue on February 8th, after being cherished by her previous owner, who could no longer care for her. Transitioning to a new environment has been a journey for Sophie; she initially felt a little lost, but with patience, she’s revealing her true self. As your ideal tiny companion, Sophie prefers lounging, especially in the mornings, relishing a good beauty sleep before starting her day. When she’s awake, she loves to be close to her human, looking for a bond where she can feel safe and understood. Sophie has shown she gets along well with both cats and other dogs and walks nicely on a leash. A secure, fenced yard would make her happy. However, she thrives in a calm environment without young children, as her sensitive nature deserves respect. While it may take some time for her to fully trust again, the connection you create together will be incredibly rewarding.
