About Scout

Scout is a 9-week-old male purebred AKC Golden Retriever who came into rescue with his brothers from an owner surrender in rural Tennessee. He’s being fostered in a family home, surrounded by kids, cats, and other dogs, so he’s learning early how to be part of a busy household. Playful and confident, Scout approaches life with contagious energy and never meets a stranger. He’s already working on crate training, housebreaking, and leash walking. According to his foster mom, Scout is an awesome puppy—sweet, affectionate, and quick to pick up new things. He’s especially in tune with people, eager to please, and learns a lot by following the bigger dog around. He fits right in playing with the neighbor kids, making him well-suited for families with children 6 and up. Full of promise, Scout is ready for a family who will enjoy all the chaos (and joy) a Golden Retriever puppy brings. Born March 18th, this makes Scout a Pisces, a sign known for their sensitivity and charm. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
