About Shadow

Shadow is a 9-week-old male Golden Retriever who came into rescue with his siblings after an owner surrender in rural Tennessee. He’s growing up in a foster home and is already showing his easygoing, confident temperament—always the first to greet a new face. Shadow is exceptionally social, playful, and full of energy, never shying away from people or curiosity. He lives alongside children, cats, and other dogs, picking up social skills and manners along the way. Housebreaking, crate training, and leash work have all begun, and he’s sleeping 6–7 hours straight in his crate at night. Shadow adores following the resident adult dog everywhere and already shows a clear eagerness to please and learn. He’s recommended for families with children 6 years and up and will fit right in with a home that loves active, trainable dogs.
