She does best in a home with a securely fenced backyard, and is a good fit for families with children aged 9 or older—mainly so she doesn’t try to dash out the door. Her tail rarely stops wagging, and she thrives on walks and playtime. Mercedes is still very much in the puppy phase, quick to learn, and already knows how to sit. Because of her coat, budgeting for regular grooming is a must. Mercedes’ previous owner surrendered her when they could no longer provide proper care, but she hasn’t let that dampen her spirits.
