Rocky Is Very Devoted came from a rough background, having lived with someone who mistreated him and kept him dangerously underweight. Thankfully, a family member helped get him to safety, and since then Rocky has started to trust again. He is living in a caring foster home now, and the vet has made sure he's healthy, vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He’s starting to put on weight and is no longer the withdrawn dog he once was. Rocky is smart and very devoted once he feels secure, but he does need patience to get comfortable with new people or places. A quieter home is best for him—ideally with a single adult female who works from home or is retired. He isn’t comfortable around small children or a lot of visitors. If you can offer a gentle routine and are willing to let Rocky come to you at his own pace, he’s eager to give all his loyalty and affection.
