At just about 2 years old, Deacon is an incredible dog with so much love to give. He is great with kids, good with other dogs, and has a wonderful personality that wins people over quickly. He is affectionate, loyal, and ready to be someone’s best friend. Like many rescue dogs, Deacon has experienced changes and uncertainty in his life. He does have some separation anxiety, but with patience, consistency, and understanding, it can be managed successfully. The most important thing to remember is that rescue dogs need time to decompress, learn to trust, and adjust to a new environment.
