Scarlet is a gentle, playful six-year-old Husky with an easygoing spirit. She weighs in at 44 pounds and is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped—she’s ready for her new chapter. Scarlet has spent her whole life outdoors, so stepping into a home will be entirely new for her. She’ll need time and patient encouragement to adjust to things like walking on hard floors; with a little support, she learns quickly. Her current caretakers note she’s already good at letting you know when she needs to go outside, so a house routine should come with consistency. Scarlet is sweet with people and very loving, and she’s wonderful around kids. She’s great in the car, handles vet visits well, and enjoys meeting new faces. Scarlet also gets along very well with other dogs. With cats, she is more indifferent—she may show mild surprise if a cat acts out, but she quickly settles. Scarlet just needs someone to teach her the joys of an indoor life: soft beds, peaceful corners, and the company of family.
