Denise was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. She is an orange female and like many orange females, this girl has very specific ideas about how life should go and she will make sure you know about them. Denise is a sweet and loving lady who enjoys petting and likes spending time with people. She does NOT like being picked up & carried and she makes it difficult for humans to perform this task. Hence, she is probably not a great match for small children or even any adults who dream about carrying their cat around. She may eventually trust her humans enough to carry her more easily, but for now we all need to accept that she is not a fan. Denise is just over a year old and still evidences kitten playfulness, so find her a Cat Dancer wire toy or a wand toy with feathers and enjoy watching her adorable antics while you play! And present her with a Churu snack tube and she will happily enjoy the treat while purring her thanks at you.
