SATURDAY, MAY 30 from 12-3PM: DOG ADOPTION EVENT at the OLATHE PETSMART at 119th & Strang Line with volunteers from Heart of America Humane Society. We'll have several wonderful dogs there looking for homes! ——————— Check out this cute guy! BRENNAN is a fun and friendly American Bulldog mix with the most adorable B&W coat. This smiley boy is silly and playful-- soft squeaky toys are his favorite! At just a year old, Brennan still has that sweet puppy playfulness and joy. He loves people and is good with other dogs. He'll be a wonderful companion for his new family, equally ready for adventures or cuddles! Brennan weighs 62 lbs. Sadly, Brennan tested positive for heartworms. But please don’t let this scare you away! We just need to get him into a home during his treatment. The cost for the heartworm treatment is completely covered. We can provide you with more info about his heartworm treatment if you are interested in adopting or fostering him (we’d love to find him a foster home!). Once his treatment plan is completed, Brennan will be able to live a normal healthy life with no restrictions! ADOPTING A DOG Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older). If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match. We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
