Pig …. Aka pigapotomus aka pigatha, She is a wonderful family dog. Loves loves loves kids and babies and couches. Loves to lay around and snore. But she also loves tug-of-war. She will laugh at you if you think she’ll play fetch. She potties outside never inside because that’s not how ladies are to behave. Like her name she loves to eat …. All food … all time. She respects fences and never digs or tries to escape. She loves her dog bed and a sunny place in the yard, but she’s really a couch potato and prefers to be indoors. She is the boss when it comes to other dogs. So a submissive dog would be fine with her, but not small dogs or cats. She gets along with our Pyrenees and our other dog. I would watch her closely for awhile when introducing her to new friends. Absolutely NOT OK WITH LIVESTOCK, CATS OR SMALL DOGS. She doesn’t like to share her food with anyone. As well as steals others food. So we feed her in her crate. She is crate trained and can sit. She doesn’t like baths but will sit for them. She has recurring ear infections in her right ear. The left doesn’t seem to get infected as often. Regular cleaning helps but isn’t always the solution. She is good off leash if you know other dogs will not be around. Great with car rides and enjoys walks. She loves treats of all kinds and loves chew toys. If you have a walnut tree watch out bc she will crunch walnuts and spit them out lol i believe now she is 6 years old? Spayed and current on vaccines. She was heart worm positive, but has been treated and has no side effects from that. She’s really great and honestly a lazy girl. She lays around, eats , snores and eats again.
