About Cairo Dd
Cairo Dd is a 4-year-old neutered Belgian Malinois with a remarkable story of resilience. He landed in rescue after being found as a severely underweight stray in rural Texas, but today Cairo is a robust, 65-pound goof whose loyalty runs deep. He’s a dog who studies new people with care and only fully opens up once trust is earned. When that happens, he glues himself to your side—a classic Velcro companion who follows you from room to room, leans into your legs for attention, and wants nothing more than to be part of everything you do. True to the breed, Cairo’s energy is high, and his intelligence is unmatched. He thrives on having a job, picks up routines quickly, and lives for physical and mental activity. Puzzle toys, games of tug, hikes, fetch sessions, and proper structure keep him happy. His playful, silly side is always present—when he isn’t being serious on neighborhood watch, he’s off inventing hilarious games or prancing around the house, toy in mouth. Crate trained and mostly house trained, Cairo shines with guidance and consistency. Cairo is dog-friendly and enjoys play, but he isn’t suited to homes with cats, chickens, or other small animals. Young children make him anxious, so an adult-only home or one with older, respectful teens is necessary. He needs structure, activity, and someone who appreciates the Belgian Malinois drive and bond. Cairo isn’t designed for apartment living or a stay-at-home-all-day sort of life. If you want a loyal, expressive, highly trainable clown of a dog who doubles as a best friend and sidekick, Cairo is waiting in Austin, TX. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!

Questions about Cairo Dd
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Cairo Dd is a Belgian Malinois, a breed best suited for homes with access to ample space both indoors and outdoors. He thrives in an environment where he has room to run, play, and engage in regular mental stimulation.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Belgian Malinois like Cairo Dd need a lot of outdoor space—ideally a yard or regular access to a park. Without frequent exercise and play, these high-energy dogs can become bored.
