Now at about 3 years old and around 65 pounds, Alfie is a deeply loyal companion who values close bonds with people. These days he’s happiest just lounging near you—calm, affectionate, ready to offer quiet company whether you’re working or relaxing.  He’ll nudge in for a cuddle or curl up nearby satisfied, but don’t mistake his mellow side for a lack of drive. Alfie perks up for toys and a good game of fetch and lights up on walks, nose in the breeze, tail wagging hard. He seems to thrive with another friendly dog around and does best with adults or older children willing to give him the gentleness he deserves. A yard to play in or regular walks keeps him content.  He’s fully house trained and has his vaccinations and is neutered, so he’s ready for that next chapter with the right person or family.
