About Amberbroccoli
Amberbroccoli and her sister CiCi, also known as Broccoli and Carrot, are a bonded pair of 1-year-old female cats searching for a calm, patient household. Amberbroccoli is a big, friendly orange tabby who has never met a lap she didn’t want to claim, especially after you’ve been out—she’s quick to greet you with full-body affection. CiCi, the smaller gray tabby, moves more cautiously through the world but shows her loyalty and love to those who earn her trust. Both start out shy, needing time to feel secure in new spaces and around new people. Loud sounds and sudden movement still startle them, so stability and a gentle approach are essential. Having previously lived in a home with dogs that frightened them, Amberbroccoli and CiCi need a strictly dog-free environment and would be happiest as the only pets. While they could potentially adjust to another quiet cat, their best life is as the focus of a peaceful, settled household. They’re best suited for adults or calm older teens who are patient and understand sensitive, slow-to-warm-up cats. Any adopter will need to meet them in their foster home in Brunswick to see their true personalities. These aren’t instant best friends—they’re a duo who quietly decide when to trust. But once they do, their devotion runs deep. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
