About Pinky
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Pinky is a truly unique cat searching for a special adopter who understands her journey. Having been returned to the rescue in 2015, she spent her early months avoiding human contact, yet found comfort basking in sunny windows and beds. Over time, Pinky warmed up to her foster mom, occasionally seeking out affection with adorable flops and gentle purrs, and she delights in treats like Churu. While Pinky is currently safe and cherished in her foster home—where she’s welcome to remain indefinitely—her foster mom hopes Pinky can find a quieter place with more individualized attention. If adopted, she is likely to retreat and hide, so a patient adopter must be willing to allow her months to adjust, ideally providing a safe, confined space so she can’t hide somewhere risky. Pinky’s future family will need to trust in her potential, as she may not show her personality right away. She is best suited for a calm, quiet home with no children and should be either the only cat or live with exceptionally gentle cats. Her experience with dogs is unknown, so it’s advised to avoid canine companions. The perfect fit is a cat-savvy household willing to let Pinky set her own pace and never force affection. There is also the option to foster her long-term if a forever home isn’t the answer. Pinky is safe and loved—but she deserves every chance to shine even brighter. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
