Meet Laramie, a 1-year-old Yorkshire Terrier from Salt Lake City, UT, whoās convinced sheās the main character. Sheās a spirited, pint-sized dog with a ton of opinions and a strong attachment to her personāexpect a loyal shadow, not a pet who likes alone time. If you work from home or have a flexible schedule, Laramie will make you her world. Energetic doesnāt even begin to cover her vibe. In her foster home, only one of five dogs can match her pace, so sheāll thrive with a younger, active dog ready to join her in zoomies and mischief. She gets along very well with other dogs, while her stance on cats is less clear. Potty training is in progress. Sheās not always great at letting you know when she needs outāaccidents happen, but sheās adaptable, and her diaper game is strong (her foster will send you home with extras). Sheāll use the outdoors reliably for peeing but sometimes needs encouragement for number two, and, well, she tends to eat poop if given the chance. She does best crated when unsupervised, since her curiosity leads to chewed-up items and mysterious puddles. Crate time gets some protest at first, but she settles. Car rides are not her thingāshe gets carsick, and sheās loud about it. On a leash sheās spirited until she sees another dog, which triggers instant zoomies. She knows her name, āstay,ā and āno,ā and sheās smartājust chooses when to listen. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
