About Casper

Hi, I'm Casper a "Chi-Bull." It is believed I am a mix between a Chihuahua and a Pit Bull Terrier. I am short and stout, similar to the little teapot from the nursery rhyme you remember from childhood. I have one brown eye and one blue eye, and I am also partially to nearly completely deaf. Loud noises do not bother me, so I won't make a very good "guard dog". I'm more of a lover than a fighter anyway, and I prefer to keep it that way. When I was found at 5 months old, I was in a really bad home and it potentially resulted in my current hearing hindrance. I was found in an abandoned hotel room weighing 7 pounds, skin and bones. They weren't sure I would survive, but thankfully, I did. I love other dogs, and cats as I currently live with them. I also love kids of all ages. My current child is 18 months old, and although he keeps me very busy, I still just want to love and cuddle. I sleep with my mom every night, and she helped me get potty trained and kennel trained. I do hate when she has to leave me for work and when they have to take my brother to all his doctor's appointments. It makes me really sad and I just want to be in their laps all day long. It is best to use a vibrate collar with me for recall and training, as I adapt well to it. I am really good on a leash, but I do not like the stairs. I can go up without a problem, but getting down is another story; I usually trip over my own paws. I do like to play a little rough for my size but I have never nibbled. I would really like to be your shadow or piece of Velcro because I promise I will go wherever you go. I am looking for a special someone or family to join, seeking a cuddle buddy. Casper is participating in the iRehome program. All iRehome dogs are being rehomed by their current owner. All iRehome behavioral and medical information is provided by the dog's current owner. TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with the current owner prior to completing the adoption process.
