About Cooper Xi

Make their next chapter their best one yet. Meet Cooper, a striking 2.5-year-old male pit bull terrier mix with a gorgeous grey coat, giant ears, and boundless energy. Cooper began his life as part of an unhoused family, then surrendered due to his owner's illness, and is now seeking a new start due to changes in his current family's circumstances. He is microchipped and fully up to date on vaccinations, ready for his next adventure. Cooper truly flourishes in a home with a securely fenced outdoor space—he loves running, playing, and spending time outside, whether that's going for walks, watching birds, chasing bunnies, or simply sunbathing. He also enjoys cuddling up in bed and relaxing by the fire with his favorite soft squeaky toys and long-lasting treats. Smart and eager to please, Cooper is treat-motivated, has worked with a professional trainer, and is house-trained, non-destructive when left alone, and knows a variety of basic tricks. He is also muzzle-trained. While he adores people of all kinds, including children, Cooper thrives best as the only dog in the home, preferring to be spoiled as your one and only companion. He has not been tested with other animals or cats. If you want an active, loving friend for both outdoor fun and nighttime snuggles, Cooper could be your perfect match. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. This pet is currently participating in the Dallas Pets Alive rehoming program.
