Dropped into your lap straight from above, please meet the very special Nevaeh! This girl is aptly named - you see, Nevaeh is the word heaven spelled backwards and believe you me she is absolutely heaven sent! Nevaeh has thrived in foster care and is now ready to embark on her journey to her permanent address just in time for summer. She has been spayed, is microchipped, and has received a clean bill of health from our vet. Please read on for her story and humble beginnings, and don't sleep on requesting an application for her as we don't think she will stick around for long! Here is what we know about NEVAEH: - She is @ 10-12 months old now and tips the scales @ 15lbs. We believe this will be her adult weight and she really won't get much bigger at all. Perfect pint sized sweetie! - Nevaeh was rescued from ditch where she was abandoned and in terrible condition. As such, we don't know too much about her start to life or what her breed mash up may actually be. Based on her physical characteristics, disposition, and personality traits, our vet is pretty confident she is a chiweenie (chihuahua/dachshund mix). She certainly fits that bill! - Nevaeh has been thriving in foster care and has bounced back beautifully. Foster mom reports that she is a very smart lady and would pretty much be plug and play in your household. She is kennel trained, leash trained, and almost completely potty trained. She also loves riding in the car! - Nevaeh is great with other dogs, and would do fine as either the only dog in her new household or with other doggy playmates. She is very friendly and playful and would really enjoy a built in doggy buddy! - She hasn't been cat tested, but would likely do well with a dog savvy cat who wouldn't chase her. - Due to her personality, we think Nevaeh would do great as a family dog with kiddo playmates 5+ who understand doggy boundaries and can treat her kindly. She has a lot of energy and would love to burn it off running around a fenced in yard with her family. - Foster mom lovingly calls her NayNay, and she comes immediately when called. She is a lap snuggler too, and has never met a stranger. She also is not a barker which is a plus! - We would love to see an adopter with breed and/or small dog experience as these smallies are really amazing and unique dogs.
