About Orville

Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Orville was discovered near the Macon airport with two adults and eight puppies, all believed to be chiweenies or chihuahuas. Weighing in around 20 lbs, Orville has a playful personality and, in his foster home, quickly showed his cleverness by exploring counters, tables, dressers, and even trying to perch on shoulders. With time and patient guidance, he’s learned good house manners and shines as a smart, alert companion. Leash walks can make him nervous, but he manages well, and a fenced yard would help him feel more comfortable and safe. Orville is sociable with other dogs and would thrive in a home where he can make canine friends. While initially shy with new people, once trust is built, he is pure affection—happy to cuddle and never far from your side. Orville is on affordable medication for a past seizure issue, and he’s been seizure-free since starting treatment. He’s also quite the talker and will share plenty of stories with you! Fun fact: Born on October 2, Orville is a Libra—known for seeking harmony and being an affectionate companion. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
