At just over 20 pounds, he’s the perfect compact companion for someone looking for a best friend to snuggle up with at the end of the day. Milo came to us after another dog in his home attacked him, and sadly, his owners were unable to provide the medical care he needed. Thankfully, he made his way to us, received all the care he deserved, and is now completely healed and ready to start the next chapter of his life! Shelter life has been a little overwhelming for this guy, so he can be shy when first meeting new people, but that’s very normal for a dog who’s used to the comfort of a home. Once he settles in, Milo is incredibly loving, gentle, and affectionate. He gets along great with dogs, cats, kids — basically everyone he meets!
