Wendell has had a hard life until he came to Miri's. Alone, scared and starving, he was turned out of his home and onto the streets. But now this amazing, happy, energetic Yorkie is on the mend. He is a tennis ball fanatic and learns quickly. He loves kids, adults and wants to b friends with everyone he meets. He is an accomplished escape artist, you will need a secure home and yard! Wendell is working on his housetraining but does well with belly bands in the house. He rides well in the car, loves to snuggle, and sleeps through the night like an angel. He can be left alone without getting into trouble but will bark or whine for a little while. His ideal home would have a fenced yard (he hasn't figured out the whole leash situation yet), another dog for company, lots of walks and snuggle time, and a consistent routine. Wendell has plenty of energy for yard and play time. He would enjoys playing with other dogs. Because he is very small and wily, he is a bit of an escape artist, so his yard needs to be free of holes or gaps in the fencing. Wendell sees and hears well and is very mobile.
