About Wendell

Wendell’s story had some tough chapters before he landed at Miri’s. Left to fend for himself, he battled the streets before getting a shot at something better. Now, this energetic little Yorkie is all about tennis balls, snuggles, and quick learning. Kids, adults—he wants to be everyone’s friend. He’ll charm you, but he’s also a skilled escape artist, so you’ll need a rock-solid yard and secure home to keep him safe. Wendell is still mastering housetraining, but belly bands help for now. He rides easily in the car, loves a good snuggle, and can sleep peacefully through the night. Alone time isn’t his favorite, but once he’s used to it, he settles in after a bit of barking and whining. He does his best with consistency and routine. Home-wise, a fenced yard is a must, preferably with no gaps—he’s determined and tiny. He loves walks, playtime, and would be happiest with another dog around to romp with. Playing with dog pals lights him up. He sees and hears well, stays mobile, and manages his Cushing's disease with daily Vetoryl. If you want a bouncy, lovable Yorkie who’ll bring energy and affection, Wendell’s right here in Rockville, MD. Start your journey together! Apply now.
