About Jenkins

Jenkins is a small Yorkie/Schnauzer mix with a wire coat whose tail practically wags nonstop. Even though he's completely blind, Jenkins greets every new adventure with enthusiasm—whether he’s exploring outdoors, hitching a car ride, or meeting new folks and animals. Sure, he'll bump into furniture now and then, but it never phases him. He loves back scratches, snacks, and lounging for naps. While he was once listed as 7, Jenkins is likely quite a bit older, but he’s still got plenty of spirit and seems to be in solid overall health. He’s finishing up heartworm treatments in March. Jenkins currently lives in a foster home with two young children (whom he genuinely enjoys), but house training has proven tough in the busy environment. He does well using wraps, so that helps with accidents, but he’ll need a family willing to supervise him or keep him in a confined area when needed. Jenkins thrives on love and patience—if you've got both, he'll reward you with constant joy and company. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
